Kirby is a mail dog who is a part of Kodi's team.
His first, and so far only, appearance in the Balto series is in Balto III, when he is shown as a member of the sled team that races, and beats, Duke's bush plane. Much like Kodi, he believes against Balto's wishes to rescue Duke. But with some scowling from Kodi, he, aswell as Dusty and Ralph, go out into the wild with him and rescues Balto and Duke from falling off an ice bridge.
